It’s time to level up and take back your life. Before I dive into WHY this is so important (for all of us), I want you to think back to two and half years ago, and what was going on for all of us.

Do you remember when everything shut down, and so many of us were in our homes with extra time to take care of the house, spend more time with our kids, etc.? Even though we were concerned about what was going on, it was pretty nice to just kick back and relax, and not have much of a set schedule. 

I was definitely enjoying hanging out in my comfy clothes (kind of like my yoga clothes, but not quite as nice, and more like a step up from my pajamas), and helping my son with his homework while I did my own work on my laptop. There was something about not needing to put on makeup, do my hair, or even wear a bra if I didn’t want to, since I was at home all the time! I think we all enjoyed this for a bit, but over time, this actually ended up being pretty harmful. This ended up leading to a major mental health crisis that has been tough for so many.

You’ve been through a lot, but it’s time to level up and take back your life.

With everything going on in our world, we also stopped caring about how we can improve ourselves and our lives. We were legit in crisis mode, and we had no idea what was going to happen in our world next.

While we were all feeling fear on some sort of level (even if only for a little bit), we also got lazy; we weren’t going out into public like we used to, and were being more isolated. I know I just felt kind of ‘blah’ after awhile, but I didn’t stay there, and I don’t want you to stay in that spot either. so it’s time to talk about leveling up, and taking back our lives going forward.

In today’s episode, I’m talking about:

  • How we stopped striving for excellence and taking positive action in our lives
  • Recognizing if/where you are still living in that ‘shut down’ phase, and if you are just going through the motions, waiting for things to get better
  • Understanding that you have a choice to decide what you’re going to do with your life

We’ve definitely experienced one thing after another since March 2020; I’m definitely not a news watcher (I’m pretty anti-news for a lot of reasons), but I don’t have to be watching the news all the time to know what’s going on in the world, and to know how people are doing. I can tell what’s going on with the people around me, and I’m tuned into the energy and vibration when I’m seeing people in real life. I know there are plenty of us who are still “just getting by”; you’re giving into that fear, and that complacency.

The world is going to do what it’s going to do, and the economy is going to do what the economy is going to do; we don’t have control over any of that, but we DO have control over what we can do! It’s totally okay to take time to heal, but I don’t want you to stay stuck there for years and years either. I want to challenge you to find a space where you are still in that “lockdown mode”, figure out where it resides in you, and challenge it.

It’s time to get out of your own way, and start taking control of your life again; find the excitement, make a decision to level up, and go full steam ahead after your dreams!
